Russells Tech+ Support Packages
We understand that when your precision farming technology stops working, you stop working, because of this we are now offering our dedicated Tech+ support packages to fix your maintenance costs of your technology and make sure it is always at peak performance! To learn more continue reading to find out how our packages can benefit you. Our packages are available for all PLM Intellisteer, Trimble and Raven autosteer systems.
Benefit 1 – Yearly Health Check
During the winter we will create a backup of all your data and make sure your system is on the latest software and up to date with all the latest features, after this the system will get a full health check, condition of cabling, condition of antennas, modems, screens etc. and a full calibration! Should any additional work need to be done, we will issue an advice note detailing any problems found and a quote to rectify them, this can be tied in with a winter service at your local depot or on your farm. Normally £199.
Benefit 2 – Unlimited Phone Support
Sometimes when you jump back in after some time on other jobs between the seasons you can’t quite remember exactly how to get the best out of your system, our technology team are always on hand via the phone or TeamViewer to assist with getting your machine running perfectly, As of the 1st November 2023 all phone or remote support will be charged at £1 per minute, subscribing to a Russells Tech+ package gives you unlimited phone and remote support for the year! Phone support is available during normal business hours, extended hours during harvest.
Benefit 3 – In Field Support Session
This session will be limited to 2.5 hours maximum, but this allows you to have our experts on hand for any of those precision tasks, setting off a new implement? swapping your system between machines and want peace of mind it is set up correctly and calibrated? This session is perfect to make sure you are always operating at your best. Mileage charges apply.
Benefit 4 – Backup Equipment*
When your technology stops working, it is always when you are working or performing key tasks such as drilling, spraying or combining, should we be unable to repair your system faults within 48 hours we will fit a backup system to keep you going. *Subject to availability of backup equipment.
Benefit 5 – Russells Training
Each Tech+ support package subscription entitles your business to 2 places on Russells end user training sessions, throughout 2024 we will be running end user training on our wide range of technology offering from operator training, to using and benefitting from the MyPLM Connect farm portal to digitally manage your farming business.

*Purchasing a Tech+ support package consents to Russells holding any necessary data from your technology systems as backup data should your system fail. Data may also be used if a machine demonstration is requested to make sure our demonstrator is ready to get straight to work seamlessly.
If you do not have a Tech+ support package all technology support will be billed at full retail at the hourly rate going forward
