NSTS – Available at Northallerton & Cubley

The NSTS provide testing for all types of Pesticide Application Equipment (PAE) and fertiliser spreaders. The scheme was introduced in 2003 following the introduction of a voluntary scheme set up in 1997 by the Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA).

Tilly – Available at Cubley

Agricultural trailers are legally required under PUWER 98 Regulations to be in a roadworthy condition – well maintained and in good working order with records of maintenance held by the owner/farmer. The Tilly trailer Pass offers the opportunity for trailers to be maintained to the legal standard.

Thorough Examination – Available at Malton, Northallerton, Boroughbridge, Leyburn, Eggborough, Tuxford, Darley Dale, Cubley & Rothwell

A Thorough Examination is the name given to the mandatory inspection required by law to ensure that the mechanical parts of a lift truck are in safe working order. It is roughly equivalent to the MOT for cars. Work equipment must receive a Thorough Examination at least once a year. However, examinations could be required more often depending on your type of truck.
