GHS are part of the Russells group, who are one of the leading dealerships for Agricultural, Professional Groundcare, Construction and Arboriculture machinery in the UK.

Due to continued growth, we are recruiting a Parts Advisor to join the team at our Rowley depot.

The Parts Advisor will be responsible for identifying, supplying, and managing parts, supporting the workshop, hire, and sales teams. This role ensures the correct parts are supplied efficiently to minimise downtime and deliver excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and supply parts for groundcare equipment, including ride-on mowers, pedestrian mowers, compact tractors, and handheld machinery
  • Interpret parts diagrams, manuals, and manufacturer systems to ensure correct part selection
  • Support workshop technicians with parts for servicing, repairs, and warranty work
  • Advise customers on parts availability, compatibility, and alternatives
  • Process parts orders, quotations, and invoices accurately
  • Receive, check, and book in parts deliveries
  • Maintain parts stock levels, carry out stock counts, and support inventory control
  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers regarding availability, backorders, and returns
  • Ensure parts areas are kept organised and compliant with health & safety standards

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in parts, stores, or technical support within groundcare, agricultural, or mechanical equipment industries (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of groundcare equipment and components
  • Ability to read parts diagrams and technical documentation
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Confident communicator with a customer-focused attitude
  • IT-literate with experience using parts or dealer management systems
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment
