Russells is one of the leading dealerships for Agricultural, Professional Groundcare, Construction and Arboriculture machinery in the UK.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Professional Groundcare Service Technician to join the team at our Gilberdyke branch. Working both at the depot and out on site with leading brands such as Kubota, Toro, Amazone, Ventrac, McConnell, Timberwolf, Takeuchi, Redexim, plus many more specialist brands. With many customers such as high profile Golf courses, Sports grounds, Councils, Amenity and Arboricultural contractors. You will be working in a fast paced and challenging environment where attention to detail and customer satisfaction are essential.

As a Russells technician you will be required to:

  • Provide an excellent level of customer care
  • Deal with fault diagnosis and repair both on site and in the workshop
  • Carry out servicing and repairs to a high standard in both a timely and professional manner
  • Assemble and prepare new and used machines ready for delivery
  • Have an excellent knowledge of modern professional groundcare practices
  • Good record keeping skill and be able to follow manufactures warranty procedures

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal sensitively and diplomatically with customers and colleagues.
  • Exceptional attention to detail for the setup and repair of precision machines.
  • Confident PC user with core skills to use diagnostic and MS office.
  • Can remain calm under pressure while meeting deadlines.
  • Disciplined person who can work autonomously or as part of a team.
  • Good customer relation skills built from previous experience in a demanding customer-facing role.
  • Full UK driving license required.
  • A Forklift licence is preferred but not essential
  • Can have experience in any industry but preferred industries – Groundcare, Agriculture, Arboriculture, Plant Machinery, Commercial Vehicles.
